Catrice After Eight stamped with Chanel Péridot

Hi ladies! How are you doing? I am fine, week is going by fast again.. just 1 more day at work and the weekend is here, yay!

The polish I am showing you today I have shown you before, Catrice After Eight was one of the four polishes reviewed here. Well, I've put it on again since swatching doesn't count as "tried" for me and the untrieds are piling up ;).

After one day I didn't want to remove it since it was still neat and pretty (and I have chewed of some skin on my left hand index finger causing it to tear and irritate) but I did want to spice it up. So I looked for something to stamp with.

I remembered seeing this and then thought about Chanel Péridot being used for stamping. Tadaa, my new manicure was born! The stamping came out pretty neat though my thumbs and my right hand ringfinger are missing some pieces, and Péridot is just so yummy! The duochrome wouldn't be captured though :(.

When do you count a polish as "tried"? And do you even keep track of the untrieds?

  2. That looks awesome! And thanks for the link. =)

For me a polish is tried if I wore it on all nails for longer than 10 minutes, so yeah.. I have a lot of untrieds.  But don't worry, they get a lot of love, I can stare at those lovely bottles all day, lol. ^^

  8. Thanks Aly!

So you don't record it on a wheel before it's untried? It would trigger more to use it since I normally can stare at it from there.

  11. gorgeous! I do the same thing, when a polish is beautiful I wear it a day or two then jazz it up with art!!

  12. My sister has 'After Eight' and I'm lemming after Péridot, though will contentedly settle for a dupe.
    Winning combo!

  14. Wow, beautiful stamping! For me a polish is "tried" when I swatched it and took nice pictures I could use in my blog (if pics are not good I put it in "re-swatch" shelf, hate that! I have a list of my polishes but usually I "record" them after they pass from untried (in a big cardboard box in my bathroom) to "tried, swatched and placed on wheel".
    Sounds weird, I know...

  15. Fantastic combination! Love it.

And no, I don't really keep track of un-trieds. I try to use them when I get them but if I don't feel like wearing them right then, I don't.
