More sponged sparklies with ORLY Enchanted Forest and China Glaze Glittering Garland

How was your weekend girls? Mine was awesome. Friday night I went to town with my coworkers to go laser game and have dinner (which sucked - stupid restaurant) and afterwards some of us went to town to watch some bands and have a drink. Saturday I met up with around 20 nailaholics at a friend of mine and we had fun all day long talking and drinking and talking some more. Today, my grandparents and parents visited, I ate delicious cheesecake my boyfriend made and painted my nails this afternoon. Good weekend.

Thanks to AmyGrace I learned sponging the base of your nails can be stunning too. So, I grabbed ORLY Enchanted Forest and China Glaze Glittering Garland and this is the result.

ORLY Enchanted Forest is a gorgeous green creme that needs 2 coats.I love this combo and I love how it looks when you sponge the base instead of tips!

  1. Perfect. This mani is perfect. Jaw dropping, really. How do you sponge with the applicator? You take some polish out with the polish brush and then dip the sponge in the polish and just press it? I have no idea how this works, but I know I have one just like yours at home and now I really want to try it!

  2. Put a drop of polish on aluminium foil, use your applicator to pick up a litttle and sponge away :)! Thanks so much for your sweet words!

  8. Thanks! And yes, it also makes it easier not to get polish all over your cuticles (although I still had some trouble working with my non-dominant hand ;)).
