Hello ladies! I've got another holiday appropriate polish to show you this week. I'm afraid I forgot to take a close-up of this one before I removed it, and the bottle is entirely covered by the ugly label, so you'll have to do without one this week, sorry. But to make up for it I'll share a great tip with you at the end of this post ;)
The polish I am showing you this week is Sally Hansen - Night Lights, a scattered holo in a very sheer charcoal base. The base looked so sheer when I swatched this on a nailwheel that I did not bother to try to wear it on it's own but just put it over a black base. This is 2 coats over black, with a layer of topcoat over it. Sometimes topcoats can dull the effect of a holo polish, but that was not the case with this one. A great tip for when the topcoat does dull your holo, but the polish doesn't last you a long enough time without it? Make a little polish-sandwich. Put a layer of topcoat between your layers of holo polish and voila, no dull finish but a long lasting manicure!
I hope this was helpful and see you all next week!
