a england Dragon & St. George

Yesterday I already showed you two of the new a england colors, Ascalon & Bridal Veil. Although I like them very very much, my true favorites so far are shown today, with one of the polishes that will end up in my top whatever how many at the end of the year.

I am talking about the gorgeous Dragon and St. George! I am not going to do much blabber about them since the story behind them is to be found on every blog, you all know the quality of these lacquers and it's just better to look at the pretty pictures.

Dragon, 2 coats. Dragon is a gorgeous, true dragon like color. I know, dragons aren't real BUT if I'd have to pick a color to describe a dragon, this would be it. The special thing about this polish is that it doesn't only have slightly shy holographic particles, but also a golden sheen to it, the same way Ascalon has that purple cast.

St. George, 2 coats AND base- and topcoat. St. George gets promoted everywhere as a 1 coater. It is, but I just love it more with 2 (thinner) coats and that way I don't have to worry to see a slightly bald spot in daylight which I didn't notice at night.

This is true polish perfection. The gorgeous teal base has a slight jelly-ish appearance to it, is super super super pigmented, applies heavenly and that (holographic) shimmer... *sigh*. Absolute perfection. Truly one of my fav polishes ever!

When I took it off after wearing it 3 days I felt like putting it on again immediately (which I didn't because I am always trying to decrease the untrieds). I never felt like this about a polish before, yes there have been pretties but not like this one!

*(Some of) this/these product(s) was/were sent to me for review. For more information please read my disclosure policy*
