Gradient on OPI Cuckoo for this Color

Somewhere on a blog I found or follow (I don't remember) I saw this great tip for not having to use a sponge to create a gradient. I love doing sponge mani's and immediately wanted to try it. So, I grabbed NYX Enchanted Forest and tried it on my existing manicure, OPI Cuckoo for this Color. Well, it definitely worked! New thing are always tried at my ring finger first because when I mess up I can use it as an "accent". As you can see I did mess up but I knew what went wrong and it worked out on all the other nails.

What you do is place a small dab of polish at the base of your nail. Wipe off your brush, make sure there won't be any excess polish dripping along the brush. Then, using short, small strokes fan out the polish creating a gradient. Easy peasy! If you are the girl who recently blogged about this let me know, love to give you credit for it!

  4. I absolutely love gradients because it makes the difference and at first I thought everyone is doing it like that (whit a brush of the same polish) and I was a little shocked when I read somewhere that everyone is using an additional sponge!  Anyway you didn't picked that from me because I don't have a blog and I'm super happy that someone else finds this way better and specially easier than with a sponge  ;)
