When I saw swatches of the OPI exclusive for Ulta (I believe?) named Speak For Your-Elf! I was so sad I don't have access to pretties like these. I tweeted about it and soon I got a super sweet message from Kaylan saying she picked it up for me, including some other pretties! SO SO sweet! So, she sent the package and I waited. And I waited. And then I decided to wait a little more. Nothing came. After a few weeks I realised something. The address she had from me when we swapped wasn't my current address anymore... I went to my old address and nobody was home. Left a note and YAY! My package did arrive there and luckily the new resident still had it sitting there!

Now when I opened this I couldn't believe my eyes. Not only did she get me the OPI, but SEVEN other polishes as well! And Hershey Kisses. I looooooove Hershey Kisses!

The first polish I tried from this package was Sally Hansen Nail Prisms Fire Opal. Since it is SUPER sheer I layered one coat over Wet 'n Wild Black Crème and a stunning duochrome was born!
It does apply slightly unevenly but even though I suspected otherwise it dried quickly with my trustworthy Essence Better Than Gel Top Sealer. The color shift truly was amazing!
Thanks Kaylan for this awesome package!

Aww, that's so sweet, and oh my, what a package! Lucky you that those people kept it ^^

ReplyDeleteThe polish looks great. :)
Wow. I'm not very fond of black polishes, but it certainly does the trick with sheer polishes like this.
ReplyDeleteThat looks completely awesome over black! And what a fun package to get. :D
ReplyDeleteWaw stunning !!
ReplyDeleteYou lucky thing!!! That polish is gorgeous by the way! We can't get that here in the UK either :(
ReplyDeleteSo sweet of her to include so many other goodies! Especially those old Sally Hansens!
ReplyDeleteIt looks incredibly amazing :D
ReplyDeleteI think I fell in love with this polish. It's breath-taking! I wish I could find it here in Italy too.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that you posted this! I have this polish stashed away and had no idea that such a beauty was just begging to be used. I love duo-chromes, I'm definitely using this soon :D
ReplyDeleteLovely nail mail! How fun!
ReplyDeleteYeah she kept all my mail that was still there! Supersweet <3.
ReplyDeleteThe polish is amazing and it didn't even take hours to dry which I expected a bit. For around 10 dollar you'll find one on eBay.. maybe a swap buddy can find you a set like this too at Ross?
Yeah you should, Fire Opal for example isn't that easy to find if I check eBay! And yes I did, so sweet of her <3.
ReplyDeleteI was so happy the moment I realized where the package went! And even happier when it was still there <3. The color shift was truly awesome in this polish, thanks again so so much!
ReplyDeleteI always liked them from a distance since I didn't own any, now I want more more more haha!
ReplyDeleteThanks girl :)!
ReplyDeleteIt certainly does :). It would have that color punch if not layered!
ReplyDeleteThanks, and it was <3!
ReplyDeleteThanks honey <3.
ReplyDeleteYes, supersweet! My first Sally Hansen Nail Prisms <333.
ReplyDelete:D right?!
ReplyDeleteIt is available on eBay! And thanks for the compliment :).
ReplyDeleteOooooh yes you should use this asap!
ReplyDeleteIt was :).
ReplyDeleteOh thanks a lot! I'll have a look, even if I'm a little bit afraid of facing customs, though..that's because I usually don't buy on the net..Italy has many restrictions on polishes. mhm... *sad* :'(
