Yaaay time for the polishes I loved most in 2011! Again, both bought/released polishes count for me, let's see what made it to the top shall we?
#5 - BeYu Brilliant Shiraz
BeYu Brilliant Shiraz really received quite a buzz after being showcased at The Swatchaholic, suddenly I noticed everyone was trying to get their manicured paws on this pretty. Including me obviously! Luckily I found the good version of BeYu 209 (inci 31) in a Douglas here and this is one of the layered results.
#4 - Catrice Drama Queen
The darker version of China Glaze Midtown Magic. Very very darkbrown base with stunning shimmer. Good application, friendly priced.. perfect drugstore release!
#3 - a england Perceval
Yes, more a england! Red is one of my favorite polish colors. I might not own as many as other colors, but it always makes me feel sexy and sophisticated wearing a red polish. This stunning metallic version by a england is by far the prettiest red (non glitter) polish I have ever seen. Glowy, superb application.. LOOOOOVE EEEEET!
#2 - Models Own Aqua Violet
On of the most anticipated collections this year was Beetlejuice by Models Own. I know it was a let down for some you (I wasn't as blown away as expected either) but Aqua Violet really surprised me. Great duochrome, good wear, and just so pretty!
#1 - Chanel Peridot
Best. Polish. This year. Period.
Seriously, this isn't something bought easy as we all have some trouble shedding out a large amount of money for one polish (I could have bought 12 Essence Colour & Go polishes for this money!) but Péridot was sooooo worth it to me. The color shift, the application, the quality. All perfect. A perfect and to me unique polish which I adore so much. It stamps good too ;).
Perceval, Aqua Violet and Peridot are choices I love ;0). Glad you had a good New Year's Eve!!

ReplyDeleteAll these shades are fantastic and your photos are amazing!!!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you that Peridot should get #1st place... I'm surprise it didn't make it on a lot of top of 2011 lists... maybe because of its expensive price tag ;)
ReplyDeleteThe first two you featured are sooo drool worthy!
Right?! Do you own it Chloe?
ReplyDeleteThere have been some pretty ones indeed!
