4 Essence Colour3 polishes

Hi! With the Circus Circus collection Essence first released double ended polishes. The nice thing about them they usually contain a base color, and a topper that goes nicely with it. These are no different from that, and I must admit I like the colors they picked, and some of these toppers... divine!

I also liked the way these double ended polishes hold on to when you are polishing. The length is exactly right for my hand as the end of the unscrewed bottle rests in that part between thumb and index finger, giving me a super steady hand while polishing. Nice!

I swatched these on my swatchicles as my cuticles are kinda angry at the moment. For all but the dark blue I used the topper on the top half of the swatchicle. No topcoat, all base colors 2 layers and all toppers one.

First up is 04 A Walk In The Park. The name of the product is also the name for the basecolor. I only needed one layer of base color when I used this for my manicure but I used two on the swatchicle. It's a nice and muted green with shimmer, not as bright or grass green as the Catrice I showed you earlier this week.

The topper is called Stop For An Ice Cream and I love love LOVE this one! The icy blue shimmer, the white flecks that are floating around... just perfect. Love it. Must have in my opinion. Please click the picture for a larger version!

03 Kiss On Top Of The Rock. A nice red creme that applies easily. It isn't a bright red, and it seems blue based to me.

The topper is also gorgeous and called Dancing In The Streets. It creates a lovely tangerine color and the shimmer in here also flashes some pink. This will be worn a lot during the soccer championship this summer! What is it, world cup? Anyway, I'll have to watch and if I do my nails better be appropriate haha.

Uhm, yeah... kinda applied the topper too enthousiastic and therefore on the whole swatchicle. The base color and total product is called 01 Midnight Date. A pretty blue shimmer that flashes some teal and purple around.

The topper is a flakie, yay! There aren't many flakies and they are small but still, flakie. It's called City That Never Sleeps and reminds me of Nfu Oh #52.

Lastly we have a nice pink shimmer (no dupe for the Colour & Go I Want That! but they are close) called 02 Shopping In Soho, that has company from a darker magenta glasflecked topper called Party All Night Long.

The glasflecks flash blue in this topper but unfortunately it does fall flat a bit. I'll try 2 coats of topper when wearing this I think.

  12. Blue combo looks really nice but I don't like the packaging, I'm afraid that some polish will get spilled so probably I'm going to pass on these

  18. I hope so, but honestly I'm not sure about that..
I found Circus Circus collection about 2 months ago, here in Italy we already have the Cristalliced TE so I'm a bit pessimistic..I don't think I can find Midnight Date again around here ç__ç

  19. Wait, Midnight Date is one of the current Colour3 polishes. This is or is going to be in stores around this time. If you mean one of the 4 colors from the Circus Circus TE, that indeed is long gone!

  20.  I hope the new TE will be in stores here in Italy, I was waiting for the Crazy Good Times TE and it never arrived here, as well as for the top coat collection :-s *fingers crossed*
