The Bloglight - Reversed Edition!

No, Reversed Edition is not some fancy blog I want to showcase this week  (and yes I did Google it just to be sure ;)) but this week I want to give you lovely girls out there the opportunity to showcase yourself! For once you are allowed to leave your link in the comments, there will be only one rule: you have to tell me something about your blog.

What kind of blog is it, why do you think I should visit it, what sets you apart from others? This is not only so I won't be spammed to death with just links, but I think it is always good to keep thinking about your blog and what you want to achieve and represent.

So, if you have a blog, where is it at and make sure I want to visit it! Maybe you'll see yourself featured here in the future!

Comments do NOT show up immediately as I have moderation on for all comments that have a link in them! This also means every link without motivation will be deleted.

  1. I really want to go back to my roots and start doing more nail art on my blog. I'm a fine arts student and I don't think I use my talents nearly enough. What better canvas to practice on than my own nails? I also just had a baby girl and I want her to grow up to see all the cool stuff her mom did when she was younger. ;) I'd really appreciate anyone willing to check out my blog and leave some feedback. http://nothingjesspaintingmynails.blogspot.com/  P.S New Neon French Animal Print mani will be up later today.

  2. My blog is a nail polish blog, even though I had good intentions about blogging about makeup too. You should visit it because you probably haven't visited many Danes' blogs. ;)
    See you there. :D

  3. I was a long time lurker of nail blogs for a long time, longer than a year, before I even started taking pictures of my nails. I finally started my blog when I realized I really wanted to talk to others who shared my hobby and enjoyed it as much as I do. Blogging is such an amazing experience in that there is something new every day, it really is a learning process! I'm still learning and trying to figure out just where I want to go with my blog but I can definitely say that I value the ladies who read my ramblings and stop by to comment. Writing posts made me realize just how important it is to comment on the blogs I read instead of just passing through, because the community is so amazing.

Since I started last October I think my pictures have improved, but my writing is all me and what's going on in addition to showing off my pretty paint jobs and how proud I am of myself lol. I'm really looking forward to being able to look back as time passes to see how I change and watch these relationships grow. Because that's what I think its all about!

If you'd like to stop by, my name is Jessica, my handle is GaffoRama, and you can find my blog at onceuponapolish.blogspot.com.

  4. Hey there!
First of all, thank you so much for giving us this opportunity :)
My name is Misch, and 'm from Germany. On my blog I talk about all things beauty, but my big love is nail polishes. Every now and then I also talk about books or movies, but only if it's a subject I'm really interested in (that would be for example Harry Potter, I'm a huge fan :D). What seems to be the most popular posts on my blog is swatches of Essence and Catrice nail polishes. I'm really lucky with a drugstore that gets all the new stuff in time ;)
Even though I don't speak English in my daily life I wanted to write in English to be able to share my thoughts with more international readers. I'm really glad that works, I made a few good Spanish blogger friends and some from other countries as well. I love to share my thoughts with the whole world :)
I'd be so happy if you had a look at my blog, here's the link: http://mischsbeautyblog.blogspot.com/

  6. I just started blogging this year. Bit my nails my entire life (almost 40 now). Never painted them ever. They break constantly so someone suggested I try gel polish. My nails are longer now than they have ever been in my life. I like gel polishes still but LOVE to change things up so I found the perfect combination, I use them both. Base coat in gel clear or color and then I change the design every few days using non-acetone remover. The blogging community is amazing and supportive. Grateful to have found it. http://creativenaildesignbysue.blogspot.com/

  7. Well, we have talked briefly before and I greatly appreciate your comments but I figured I'd leave my link anyway just in case :)
My name's Alexis and I have a blog over at http://xoxoalexisleigh.blogspot.com/ . I'm a 16 year old girl who is deeply infatuated with nail polish and nail art, really all things to do with nails! My blog consists of a lot of nail posts but also other things I'm passionate about and I love, like hair. Next year or the year after that I plan to enroll in Cosmetology school and become an amazing hairstylist that makes people feel like a million bucks everyday. Other than that I love art, photography although I am seriously an amateur, makeup (also an amateur), and food. If you're interested in any of those things I think you'll find you like it over at my tiny spot on the blogosphere!
Thanks for this wonderful opportunity Deborah!

  8. To be honest I don't know what will make my blog different from everyone else. It's a nail varnish blog but I hope to mix in other beauty stuff like perfume and lip balms from time to time. Only when I find something that I think deserves to be shared with others. Both amazing stuff I can't live without and total regrets I hope everyone else can avoid making. I do my nails for me but I like to talk to others that share my passion for it. My photography may not be star quality and my skills are by no means on the same level as yours are but I try my best and I am proud of my teeny tiny blog. I won't brag about having Chanel or Dior nail varnishes (mainly because I don't have any pricey varnishes haha). I didn't set up a blog to make people jealous or anything. I just want to share the colours and brands I like with others and hopefully show that dear doesn't mean better. You can get some amazing polish for low prices. I'm not looking for 4,000 followers to appear overnight. I want people to follow my blog because they like what i write and share the same interests in polish. If you don't like my blog then that's grand like everyone has their own likes and dislikes. I do appreciate the opportunity to share my blog with you not because you have a wide fan base, but because you are a nail varnish addict too. You have the passion that i hope to portray in my blog.

I know I don't have a lot up yet but it is a learning curve and I don't want to spam people with 8-9 posts a day either. I try to make each post as informative as possible because that is what I look for in a blog.

  9. Hello! And thank you so much for letting us mention our blogs! I have a brand new nail blog at LacquerLovingLawyer@blogspot.com. I have been an attorney in South Florida (U.S.) for 20 years. Because of the generally conservative nature of the accepted personal appearance of lawyers, I had not stepped into the fun world of blue, green, glitter, holo or duochrome polish until a few months ago. My blog is my way to keep a journal about my polishes and manicures, and I also alert my readers to any great sales or giveaways.

  11. Thank you for giving us this opportunity! :)
My name is Theodora, I'm 20 years old, and I absolutely adore Nail Polish and Nail Art! I followed some great blogs for almost a year, when I thought, I could start my own blog too :D I started writing in German but switched to English after a while, so that I could reach more people out there.
I try to post a lot about Nail Art, Nail Art Tutorials and I also do swatches and sometimes some reviews about products I really like. I try to post about hair stuff as well, since that is my second passion after nail polish :)
I am doing this for exactly a year now and I am still trying to figure out how to take good pictures and create tutorials, but I'll think I figure it out in time ;)
I always try to prioritize my reader's requests and make them all happy :P
What I love about this blogging community, is that I found so many great people with the same passion for Nail Polish :D
Yeah, that's it :) Oh, I almost forgot =)) The link to my blog is: http://redhairandblacknailpolish.blogspot.com/
Would be awesome if you could check it out :)

  12. Hi!
What a nice opportunity this is? Thanks!
My blog is Yaşasın Renkli Ojelerim! (yasasinrenkliojelerim.blogspot.com) Didn't understand it, right? Yeah, it is in Turkish and English and its title means 'Yay, my colorful nail polishes!' (or at least something similar to it :)) As its name suggests, I try to make is as colorful as possible. It is only on nail polish (recently I begin to post about new collections) and hopefully many different colors of it.
Check it if you like :)

  13. First of all, thank you for doing this and for your desire to check out our little corners!! =)
I started blogging in January so I'm a baby in the blogosphere...  I feature new and old nail polishes on my website and occasionally will throw in some nail art.
I'm a healthcare professional (anesthesia provider) and have to look "professional" at work, not to scare off my patients.. haha =)  but at the same time I love color my blog features work friendly, but not boring NOTDs..   I struggle with my cuticles due to constant hand washing so please don't be offended by it.  And the name of my blog comes from the fact that nail polish is like crack to me!!!  I hope you like it and thanks for checking it out!
