Catrice I Wear My Sunglasses At Night

Hi lovelies! Enjoyed the pretty manicure Manon showed you guys yesterday? I really love her stamping skills ♥.

Today I am showing you a polish that didn't wow me as much as it did in the bottle, but it wasn't terribly dissappointing either. I mean we all know those polishes that look A-MA-ZING in the bottle and than you slap it on and your face goes like this? Not with this one. Now I already was prepared by Internet swatches that it wouldn't be this colorful glittery black so that helped.

I needed 2 coats and topcoat to level it out a bit and make the color more pop. It applied reasonably but it was kinda thick. Also, because it is pretty pigmented it is also more thick.

Do you like this one? And what is your worst polish bottle/nail translation?

  1. I got this one myself, and I must admit that I was disappointed. But I have plans for it - as a base for stamping, glitter etc. :D

  2. I have this one, but haven't tried it yet! Sad to hear it disappoints. I love that you managed to catch the flecks on the pictures though, gives me hope that it will at least be a little wearable :)

  5. I actually like this one.  Love the glitter in it.  I can't remember my worst bottle/nail translation.  Guess I blocked it out, lol.

  6. It's a good base indeed since it is opaque in 2 coats!

  7. Maybe it'll benefit from some thinner, and it definitely is wearable. Just not as awesome as the bottle appears!

  8. Thanks! And that's only a good thing, it's always sad when you are disappointed with something!
