Spoiled Bite Me

Hi girls! Another polish part of my Spring Surprise package from Pauline over at omgnoodles today. I was immediately drawn to this one when I opened my package and it looked gorgeous swatched on a swatchicle.

It also looked gorgeous on the nails but damn was this hard to get on! The brush Spoiled uses is just terrible. Thick, fat, uneven... holding way too much polish so you have to be very careful and it just doesn't apply nicely.

Luckily they end result was worth it, slapped on some topcoat and this ultimate vampy shade was born!

Do you own any Spoiled polishes? Are all the brushes as terrible as this one?

  2. The horrible brushes are keeping me from trying these. I am so impressed with how Wet-n-Wild has stepped up their game as far as formula is concerned but their brushes are horrid. They aren't such a problem with the glitters but for jellies and cremes, they are useless and I can't bring myself to buy them.

  3. The brushes are as bad as you could imagine.  I had one bottle with a brush that had an extra, extra long strand -- like 3 inches too long.  The shape on some can make it difficult to apply polish without making a total mess.  My advice for anyone who is really lemming a Spoiled color, cause there are some great ones, is to buy it and pour it into a clean bottle with a brush you have better control of.  I have done that with Urban Outfitters' terrible square bottles that were impossible for me to open.

  5. Spoiled is a really low end drugstore line in the US. I have picked them up when out of town to look at the colors 'cause they do catch my eye with what they do. But totally agree with you on the brush. I never have seen one bottle that had a half way decent brush. I own 3 of this brand and I use an acrylic art brush to apply them because the brush is so bad on the bottle as to be unusable.

  6. Pity about the rush but looks like a great colour. I've never heard of the brand before. What does the bottle look like?

  7. Jup, unfortunately all the brushes are like that. Some are better than others but the 'good' ones are still bad. The colors make it up for the brushes though, I love it!

  8. I love this, it's the only Spoiled one I have, sucker for a vampy I am, (well used to be, sort of going off at mo as overkill in my  collection!)

  9. This is so stunning on you!!!  I have a few Spolied polishes, but haven't tried them yet.  So far everyone seems to have a problem with their brushes.

  12. Yeah, you'd almost pour it over into other bottles with better brushes... But that's not a true solution!

  13. It's such a shame we have to do stuff like that - pour it nto other bottles and such. What colors do you recommend? I'll be visiting the States in September :D
