Efteling, a Dutch amusement park. What are your plans?
The manicure I am showing you today graced my tips last Saturday when I went to the sauna with my bestie. Now if you have to walk around naked all day you better do it with gorgeous nails right ;)? They sure caught attention, even received two compliments! I used China Glaze Orange You Hot? as a base, I needed 2 coats. It applied quite easy due to the shimmer, but it might need some thinner for my next use as it went on slightly patchy. Could have been the temperature here too though! I sponged China Glaze Love's a Beach on the tips, I needed around 3 sponging rounds to get it opaque.
Now if you experience sheerness with your gradient I recommend the following. First just sponge the tip with the color you want, without using the smooth gradient technique. If you put down an opaque enough tip you can use the tutorial by The Nailasaurus for the smooth line!
I really love how sponging brings out the shimmer in these polishes, because the color itself is less opaque the shimmer has more room to play. Hope you like it too!
