Yes, I said skadient. It's my own made up term for a skittle gradient manicure. Somehow I just couldn't get used to the look of this and took it all of after clean up and pictures. Also I made a mistake in the "pattern" which made it even more chaotic than just the colors themselves already did.
Now the idea was to use the 5 most "highlighter" like colors from China Glaze Summer Neons and let them follow up eachother from tip to base in a gradient. If you look good you'll see I went wrong with my thumb, which I sponged last. That tip should have been blue. Also some color combo's were prettier than others, I mean I looooove my ringfingernail, but the middle one? Yeah, not so pretty.
I used 2 coats of every color shown at the base of my nail, sponging was different with every nail, pinky being the thoughest with the yellow sponged over orange. This would not get opaque! The easiest was the green over blue, this was good after 2 rounds of sponging. All colors applied easily because of the shimmer, though the yellow and green were kinda goopy/thick. I might throw in some thinner for my next use to apply it a little less streaky hopefully. It evened out with topcoat.
The idea was fun but the outcome wasn't as I imagined so I just took it all of again and slapped on a england Saint George after this. All pictures can be enlarged by clicking them and the shimmer looks way more pretty if you do!

This is such a fun one. Even if it didn't turn out to be what you expected. I love that you call it a skadient, lol.
