OPI Did You 'ear About Van Gogh? topped with CND Copper Shimmer

Aaaah, the need for a nude manicure after wearing brights, shimmers, glitters, all of the extravagant polishes there can be. It always feels so refreshing and classy wearing a nude after a period like that. But, as always, I am bored quickly so even my nudity needs to be covered with something special ;).

That something special mostly are my beloved CND Effects. I used CND Copper Shimmer (one coat) over 2 coats of OPI Did You 'ear About van Gogh and I looooved it. The shimmer is way more obvious in my pictures, with normal indoor lighting it was more of a warm glow, but in sunlight it did get this fiery!

Do you like it? And what's your favorite way to be "nude"?

  1. It's so subtle and subdued but still brilliantly sparkly--I like it!! I recently had a similar experience with China Glaze Fast Track. Nudes & shimmer look so pretty together! :)

Wow. So pretty. I can't go nude because my nails are too discolored from polish. Closest I can come is a nude tone cream with several layers.

  6. Oh yes, going nude for real won't be possible for me too, my nails are so yellow! But this one covers nicely :).

  7. Thanks so much, it's funny you wore the exact same combo :D! To me it still looked beige indeed, but I did apply a very thin coat of the CND. Next time you wear it make pictures okay?

  9. I love, love, love this!!!! So pretty and lady-like!  I totally know what you mean about a break after the brights and glitters.  Though, the break never lasts long, we all need those.
