Hey everyone!Another manicure inspired by something random in my house this week :) On the left is a picture of the cover of a photo album I use to store all my stamping plates. I thought the colours and the flowers were very cute together, so I used the album as inspiration for this manicure.
For the base I tried out a new technique (well, new to me that is). I painted my nails with P2 - Heartbeat, a pastel pink, and when that dried I put a coat of Kiko - 238 Martha red over it. Then I took some plastic foil/saran wrap, bunched it up, and sponged my nails with it. The foil pulls away the still wet polish, revealing the dry colour underneath, giving your nails a very pretty marbled effect.
When the marble was dry I stamped my nails using the Konad s9 plate and finished with some red rhinestones and a nice thick coat of topcoat.
So what do you guys think? I really like the combination of the 2 colour design with the pink and the red. I also liked the marbled effect on it's own, so I will be trying that again soon! I hope you have a nice week, and see you next Monday!
