Sephora by OPI XOX Betsey stamped with China Glaze 2030

Hi loves! How have you been? Enjoyed your weekend? I know I did, I ran 5 k.m. today together with my mom at the Eindhoven marathon! I've been running since June this year and though I made good progress, I wasn't able to run more than 12 minutes or around 1.7 k.m. in one piece.

Today I managed to run the full 5 k.m. in one straight run! It was a great experience and I want to thank my mom for running with me and keeping me at a good pace, and thanks to my dad and boyfriend for waiting at the finish line!
Now I don't think you came here for running stories, so how about some nails?

The picture above and directly below this text show you Sephora by OPI XOX Betsey (2 coats) stamped with China Glaze 230 and BM-314. The application of the SOPI wasn't great, but not too bad either. It was a bit streaky at the first coat and I made sure it dried completely before adding a second, slightly thicker coat to get it opaque and even.

China Glaze 2030 is great for stamping and I am really glad I found it! The image from BM-314 looked perfect for this combo.

After a day I was curious to see how this'd look mattified. I grabbed my Essence matte topcoat and the supersoft looking manicure was born! This was so pretty, it made the gold stand out a bit more.

I am not sure which way I liked this mani more, matte or shiny. What do you think?

  22. Thanks Angie! The mattified look makes it some sort of velvety, I think that's the "hidden shimmer" touch to it.

  27. Hi! If you are going to Amsterdam I can recommend the following:
Kruidvat (drugstore) for Essence, Catrice, NYC, Rimmel, Gosh.
    Trekpleister (drugstore) for Essence, Catrice.
Etos (drugstore) for Miss Sporty, Etos own brand, Essie, Bourjois, Herome.
Mooi (luxurious drugstore) for OPI, Herome.

Kiko unfortunately isn't sold in Holland, neither is P2. They are both available in Germany.
