Chanel Malice

Oh yes, I got this gorgeous beauty and I do not regret the purchase at all. Every once in a while Chanel (or Dior, my other fav' splurge brand) releases something I must have. I'll think it over a few times, but in the end I'll make the purchase and be so happy with it.

Chanel Malice is no exception. At first I thought "This is just a shimmery red" and even though it is (there are probably quite a few dupes to be found) it just has something I couldn't resist. Part of it is the luxurious feeling I get whenever I use a Chanel or Dior bottle. But also, this color is so glowy, so vivid, yet so deep and sexy, I just want to wear it again already.

It applied very easily in 2 coats. I like the Chanel brush, it's easy to handle and you can get a nice clean line at the cuticle. It doesn't dry superglossy but I always top it with topcoat so that doesn't really matter to me.

I wore it for a full day straight and didn't have tipwear or anything so that's good (but for the price I wouldn't expect anything else).

I also combined this one with some nailart. The inspiration for this came from Joyful Nails and it's so easy! I applied 1 coat of China Glaze 2030 on both ringfingers and let it dry. Then I taped off this upside-down cross image using 2 strips of striping tape, 1 vertically and 1 horizontally. Painted 2 coats of Chanel malice over it and after the second coat immediately pulled away the tape carefully. Some topcoat and you are done!

Hope you all like this! Will you be buying Chanel malice or do you think it is too expensive?

Gorgeous shade! And I love the accent finger, it looks like your nails are a wrapped present :) I'm not sure I would pay the money for it as I have dupes for it but it looks pretty on you x

  7. It depends a bit on lighting, the vampyness is better shown in dim light!

You're making me wanna have this Chanel.
I, the one who's always been ignoring Chanel polishes since her birth.

And that nail art, aww, it's fascinating even if it's very simple. So classy and elegant. Aww.

    Temptress.

  13. Yes. I love this polish! I got the same feeling as you and knew i'd be able to resist it since I already have similar ones in my stash(OPI Royal Rajah Ruby, I'm looking at you). But at the last minute, when everywhere was selling out of this polish, I was able to snag one of the last bottles online. It is quite unique, even though I have similar ones. the depth of it and those blackened edges. You feel like you could dive in and swim in this one.
