China Glaze Gussied Up Green

Today I have a classic for you, and what a gorgeous one! This is China Glaze Gussied Up Green. This was released as part of the Rodeo Diva collection for Fall 2008. Rodeo Diva is I think one of the most loved collections China Glaze ever did. It is filled with the most perfect dark shimmers.

Gussied Up Green is no exception to this! I needed 3 coats for this slightly duochrome green beauty, and it applied easily. Combined with topcoat it dried to a high shine that lasted nicely on me. Colors like these are part of my favorites. Dark, shimmery and with a twist is how I love it!

I also stamped an accent nail using Chanel Péridot. It added an extra eyecatcher to an already gorgeous manicure!

Do you own any polishes from the Rodeo Diva collection? And which is your favorite?

  1. First of all, these colors look perfect together! Wow!

Love the look of this color on you! Wish I could wear green, but alas, it really wasn't meant to be! I need to pick up more from this collection. I'm lucky to have a nail supply store near me that still has this collection!

Lovely combination. I don't have any of polishes from Rodeo Diva collection, most of them were too warm for my skin tone.

  6. Thank you Angie! Péridot always goes so well with greentones.

No green looks good on you? No green at all? That is weird! And yes, they can be hard to find nowadays but you are lucky to have a spot!
