Hi loves! How are you doing this weekend? Having fun? I'll probably go out for a drink tonight, and some more chilling tomorrow while doing laundry and such.
I've got 3 polishes from the Essence Snow Jam Trend Edition to show you today! Most Trend Editions that were released lately didn't really spark my interest, but these seemed pretty so I made sure to grab a few.
For these swatches I used Essence Studio Nails 24/7 Nail Base & Essence Better Than Gel Top Sealer. All colors are build up on their own stating the amount of coats per swatch.
Let's do this from light to dark, shall we? That means the first one I am showing you is the jelly white called Top Of The Ice-Stream. This is a really squishy white, filled with blue and purple flashing small flecks.
I really loved this one in the bottle and I do too in these pictures, but I am not sure I'll wear it like this. I needed 4 coats for this opacity and it is slightly streaky so you have to be careful while applying.
I might layer this over a more opaque white next time. If you like squishy white this is a must have!
The next color I have is Goofy-Blue. This might be my favorite! Essence sometimes releases polishes with silver flecks in them, but because of the opaqueness of the color it makes the polish look like a dark grey melange t-shirt, that kind of texture. I hope you get this haha!
The color is a gorgeous and bright cornflower blue. The flecks are silver and pretty hard to remove, they stick to your nail like they never wanna leave! I used 2 coats to get it opaque.
I thought I'd love this the most (it's teal, everyone knows I love teal) but the shimmer is the kind that reminds me of ribbons (the ones on a little roll that you use to wrap presents) and though I love ribbons and presents, I don't like that kind of shimmer in my polish. Too pearly or something.
2 coats were needed for this but it is nearly opaque at one already, so it will probably work for stamping!
So what do you think about these lacquers? Did you get any of this Trend Edition? The other makeup products didn't seem that interesting, I can't wait for the other Trend Edition though, Vintage Disitrict!
