China Glaze Graffiti Glitter

Hi loves! How was your weekend? I had a party Friday night, a dear friend of mine celebrated his birthday. I had sangria and Cosmo's all night long and had a blast - the headache the next morning wasn't too bad even! Saturday night I went to see Les Miserables with my bestie and even though I sometimes thought the singing went on too long (and the fact it is a French story.. in English) I really liked it. Today the boyfriend and I visited his father who owns a farm, he keeps sheep. There are around 25 little lambs already and they are so cuuute! There was this tiny one who was just born this morning, adorable. You can check out on Instagram if you wanna see!

But, you came to see polish, right :)? Today I am showing another one of the China Glaze Glitz-Bitz 'n Pieces collection, called Graffiti Glitter. This is the emerald green one and it has the same composition the others have I showed you before. It applied very easy and the glitter spread out nicely.

The basecolor you see is one of the new shades Essence just released, called That's What I Mint! It is a pale mint color and it has very shy shimmer in it too - in this combo I didn't see any of it on the nail. It applied okay-ish, it is a pastel shade but 2 coats were enough. It is a little uneven but a nice coat of topcoat evens that out.

I have to say this color combo wasn't thought of by me, I got the inspiration from the lovely Kirsten over at Glitta Gloves! When I saw her do this combo I immediately knew that's how I wanted to wear it too :). The index and pinky were decorated with some studs.

Hope you like this combo!

  5. Love this manicure, especially the studs. I am still on the fence about this China Glaze collection. I like the green and the blue one, but I am not sure if I'd wear them often since I am not a huge fan of bar glitter.

  10. Thanks Sabine! They really grew on me and I ain't a fan of bar glitter either, so maybe give the one with your favorite color a try? If you lived closed you could borrow them but unfortunately that isn't an option now :(.
