China Glaze Razzle Me, Dazzle Me

Hi loves! How are you? happy the weekend has arrived? I am sooo tired and really need some well deserved sleep haha.

So today I got one of the new China Glaze lacquers, part of the Glitz-Bitz 'n Pieces collection. I received all 6 for review but I didn't want to do straight up swatches, but something a bit more challenging: complete manicures!

I am starting with the black and soft pink one called Razzle Me, Dazzle Me. All polishes have black glitter in bars, extremely large, medium, small and tiny hexes. The colored glitter comes in medium, small and tiny hexes.

For this manicure I used Essence Studio Nails 24/7 Nail Base and on the glitter + stud nails 1 coat of Gelous, topped with Essence Better Than Gel Top Sealer.

The basecolor is OPI Dim Sum Plum, I only needed 1 coat of this gorgeous pink! It applied easy too - no cuticle pooling and no patchy parts. I topped my middle and ring finger with 1 coat of China Glaze Razzle Me, Dazzle Me. My pinky and index got dotted using a medium sized dotting tool (my sizing isn't the best) and Wet 'n Wild Black Créme. I used 2 black square studs from Dollar Nail Art on my thumb. I placed them by polishing a small strip of my nail with topcoat and an orange wood stick dipped in topcoat to pick them up.
I hope you like the look of this, I really liked the combo and this way it isn't too chaotic. I am not a fan of bar glitter, but in this combo it kinda works I think. The extremely large hex on my middle finger is awesome I think, I don't know but they look funny to me those big hexes!

  1. I'm not wild about bars either, but they totally work with this manicure--it looks fantastic! Awesome choice for the base as well. Looking forward to seeing the others too!

  10. Thank you so much Elizabeth! Yes the contrast between the color and black is what makes this pop for me :).

  11. You do :D! I really did not like them at first, even disliked some swatches (not the swatches fault) but they grew on me whilst trying!

  12. I really disliked them at first but they grow on you (that's what they did with me anyway).

  13. Oooh get at least 1 or 2. This one is pretty easy to combine because of the soft colored glitter!

  14. Thanks babe! When I'm in doubt of what to do I usually do various designs on a nailwheel and determine the placement later on :).
