Hi loves! How are you? Hope you are all doing well.
Today I got a manicure to show you that has a little bit of everything: stamping, freehand nailart and glitter. I all created it around the image on my middle finger: the little swallow. I saw this image in a manicure by Marta (does it look like a Chit Chat Nails fanclub here ;-)?) and I thought it was so cute! I also want to have those little birds tattooed someday. So obviously I had to get the plate it was on (can be found here).
When I received it the first thing I noticed was how big the full size image actually was. It is like twice my thumb size in height and 1,5 times the width. Also, the plate has no paper backing so if you order it, handle it carefully. It is sharp! The images are cut deep so it is easy to make the image transfer and the swallow is there twice so you can make them face each other.
Now, from thumb to pinky, what did I do? Thumb - Wet 'n Wild Black Crème (1 coat) stamped with the stars design from plate MLS301 and China Glaze Hi-Tek. Index - OPI Did You 'Ear About Van Gogh? (2 coats) topped with Wet 'n Wild Black Crème using a fanbrush. Middle - OPI Did You 'Ear About Van Gogh? (2 coats) stamped with the swallow design from plate MLS301. Ring - Wet 'n Wild Black Crème topped with China Glaze Hi-Tek using a fanbrush. Pinky - OPI Sparklicious (3 coats).
I hope you like this manicure! What do you think of this stamping plate? Like it?
