El Corazon 358

Hi loves! Almost Friday! Any plans for the weekend? We are having friends over Saturday and my boyfriend will be cooking so that should be a nice evening :).

I got another El Corazon polish to show you today, this one doesn't have a name but just a number: 358. It is part of the Polychrome line and boy is this a shimmery beauty! Wow!

I love these murky kind of shimmer polishes and this one is more greentoned than they usually are, most shimmers like these are more copper or olive/golden toned. This is lots of green!

It applied easily with 2 coats and it is shown without topcoat here. Shiny, right? When I put it on I also thought of another green shimmery (glassfleck) polish: China Glaze Zombie Zest. El Corazon 358 looked like a great base and it is! I left the pinky without Zombie Zest in the bonus pic.

Do you like shimmers like these? And which one is your favorite?

Bonus picture: everything but the pinky topped with 1 coat of China Glaze Zombie Zest!

This reminds me a bit more of China Glaze Agro.

Oh my goodness! This is insanely gorgeous, I have this utter weakness for sparkling green polishes!

  3. Wow, that's pretty! I was gonna say "wow, that last picture is so sparkly!" then realized it had a glitter over it, lol.

What's your bf cooking? Anything good?

  7. Haha yeah it IS extra sparkly ;-).

Absolutely, we'll have a starter of salad with bacon and sourdough bread out of the oven, the main course is mushroom risotto and the end'll be something with "lange vingers" (http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lange_vinger), cream and raspberries.

  8. Oh boy, someone sounds like a keeper! My guy once made an "original" meal of ramen noodles, balsamic vinegar and parmesan cheese.....lets just say it was gross....and that's putting it nicely!

  11. Uhm... so... yeah. That indeed sounds gross. But at least he tried ;-). You know, I am the bad housewife because I never ever ever cook so I am not complaining at all!
