Essie Bikini So Teeny

Hi loves! Just a quick and simple post today, about a polish this girl made me long for. She had this great post about it and since then the polish was stuck on my mental "WANTZ" list. Essie is sold here in Holland but it is € 10,- which is kinda expensive. So I normally don't buy them here... but I got lucky, and found this beauty marked down 50%! I couldn't leave it behind, so it came home with me ♥.

It applied heavenly and though the pictures don't show it, some of the sparkle/shimmer did transfer to the nail. It did react a bit to my topcoat (a england The Shield this time), it got a bit more patchy or something? Luckily that doesn't show in the picture.

Hope you like this one and thanks Marta for making me want this one ;).

  1. Hi! I live in Holland as well (but I'm not Dutch) and I wonder where do you find those discounted Essies? I only saw them sold in etos and DA and they are never discounted there :( I really don't get those prices - like OPI, which have a Dutch address on the back, are sold here for over twice as much as in the US? Come on, people, what's with that!

  2. Hi Ewa! Thanks for your reply! I think all Etos and DA stores are franchise, so it's up to the owners to mark them down if they want to. I did get lucky because I found 2 shades discounted in 2 different stores! But never seen it before either. And ye,s it's frustrating sometimes.. OPI is in the city so close to mine! Maybe I should go and work there ;).

  9. Lovely color! In Switzerland, Essie is sold for about 16€ (OPI and China Glaze 20€), that's why I order all my Essies, OPIs and China Glazes online.

  18. I'm pretty sure all the polish brands we have here you can get at home, too, for considerably less money. But I'd recommend to buy lots of chocolate ;-)

  19. Yesss chocolate ♥♥♥ Imma be buying lots of it haha! And P2, is that available in Switzerland? And Manhattan?

  20. Manhattan is available at the bigger stores of Migros and Coop (I'm not sure if Manor and Müller have it, but I think they do). P2 is afaik only available in Germany and some stores in Austria.

  21. So pretty! BST is a favourite of mine.

For any UK readers, I've seen it discounted (about £3) at a couple of different places this week - maybe it got discontinued and distributed around the discount market :)
