China Glaze Bermuda Breakaway

Hi loves! How are you doing this weekend? Enjoying yourselves? I starting looking into a Clarisonic Mia today, they aren't sold in Holland so I have to look into ordering online. I'd love to hear if any of you has experience with this nifty tool - especially if you have acne troubled skin!

Today's polish is an oldie I just picked up recently - and I wonder why... This is China Glaze Bermuda Breakaway and it is a perfect shade of blue. Bright, but not too light. Dark, but not looking black. Jellyish, but not sheer. And shiny! This is without topcoat as I used it as a base for another pretty I'll be showing later ^^.

Now, the first picture is a bit too bright but it shows some of the slightly squishy feel this beauty has. The second picture is more color accurate :). It applied really easy but you do have to be careful about cleanup, as it stains a bit. It didn't stain upon removal though!

Do you like this? What is your favorite "old" China Glaze polish?

  1. I swear by my Clarisonic Full size - thought about getting a Mia for travel but I seem to travel OK with the full size and it's charging cradle. I have had mine for almost 5 yrs now and would call it my desert island product. It really turned my skin around and I thought I washed it well and took really good care with great skin products - no one would have convinced me I was not washing super well until I tried the Clarisonic and then WOW! It really surprised me how smooth my skin was - my pores almost are invisible now because it's so clean with zero congestion! Highly recommend a Clarisonic.

Fav older ChG - one from the 80s that is a cream in an adobe shade no one seems to make now but always has worked really well on my skin tone and is a go to kind of neutral for me. I also like the Rodeo Diva collection a lot but they are only about maybe 5 yrs old now.

  2. I have the Clarisonic Mia and I LOVE it - I have eczema on my face and all the dry skin would clog my pores and cause breakouts (it's not just oily skin!) and the Mia not only cleans but gently exfoliates! I've been using it since xmas and have been breakout free since about a month after I began using it! Will never use anything else again - I love it!! Do get it if you can and I love that polish - my fav old China Glaze is Stone Cold or the poolside collection neons! :)

  3. Is it any similar to Kiko 336? Anyhow it's really pretty! It's hard to pick an old China Glaze favourite. They've done some pretty amazing shades in the past. Both the Retro Diva and Rodeo Diva collections had some hits that I'd never give away!

  4. Strawberry Fields even though I don't own it yet. I love what I've seen from swatches.

  5. I couldn't decide between Bermuda Breakaway and Calypso Blue when I approached this collection. I ended up buying Calypso Blue cause it's darker and less "electric". But now I happen to want this one too.
I cannot decide any preferred CG oldie, though. I do really love any CG I see!
