China Glaze Mimosas Before Mani's

Hi loves! What's up with you today? Ready for the weekend? We don't have any plans actually but I don't mind, just relaxing a bit and working on the blog.

Todat I have a manicure inspired by a blog I follow, but I can't remember which one. And I can't find the post. And I didn't pin the inspirational manicure. Damnit. If you are a blogger that created something with a peach, a white or cream and a green, let me know and maybe it was you :D!

EDIT: found it ♥. It came from LuvMyLacquer.

So, I'll describe from thumb to pinky what I did. Thumb - 2 coats of China Glaze Mimosas Before Mani's. Index - 2 coats of H&M Nerd, topped with dots in various sizes using OPI Thanks a Windmillion, China Glaze Mimosas Before Mani's and Revlon Copper Penny. Middle - 2 coats of China Glaze Mimosas Before Mani's, a medium sized dot of Revlon Copper Penny and on top of that a small sized dot of OPI Thanks a Windmillion. Ring - 2 coats of China Glaze Mimosas Before Mani's stamped with a Bundle Monster plate and Revlon Copper Penny. Pinky - 2 coats of OPI Thanks a Windmillion stamped with a Bundle Monster plate and Revlon Copper Penny. China Glaze Mimosas Before Mani's was very easy to handle - nice and even in 2 coats, not bad!

Whew.. it was quite some work to get this manicure together and it seems the polishes from the Avant Garden collection don't dry well one me. Anyone else had that feeling? That's why my middle finger is looking a bit funky in the pictures - I bumped it badly before I could take pictures and I fixed it by applying polish to the gap instead of redoing the whole nail.

Tell me, do you like the color combo? Hope you do!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this!!! Oddly enough, the CG and OPI colors are very similar to ones in the new L'Oreal Spring 2013 collection. Although L'Oreal Orange You Jealous? doesn't have that awesome ultrafine shimmer. They do apply like a dream though (thanks to the Colour Riche formula) and seem to be practically opaque in one coat. Just wanted to offer a drugstore polish option for ppl wanting to replicate this. :-)
Could you please tell us which Bundle Monster plate you used??? That pattern is amazing!

  14. Hey Emily, great to hear there are drugstore options available to kinda dupe these! I don't have any experience though with them as they are way more pricey compared to online China Glaze and OPI ;-).

The Bundle Monster plate I used is 312! Lovely design right?

  15. I would have never have thought to put that mint with a peachy shade. Love the way this looks! I didn't know Copper Penny stamped so well. I don't think I have a good gold polish that stamps well, I might have to pick it up.

  16. Thanks dear, I loved them together too! Yes it stamps really well, but it is a b*tch to get of your skin because of all the small particles.
