31 Day Nail Art Challenge - Delicate Print Nails!

Deborah's manicure - Tone on tone

Hi loves! Another day in the 31 Day Nail Art Challenge, and today calls for delicate print. I loooove the swirly and feminine patterns on stamping plates, so after my initial manicure didn't turn out the way I wanted, I quickly grabbed my stamping plates and 2 colors that are so close they only differ in finish.

The basecolor is 2 coats of Ciaté Superficial. I ordered this during their flashsale. It seems they are now suddenly backing out on shipping and it is superweird how they are acting. I am glad my package arrived safely! The formula is quite nice and it is my favorite shade of teal ♥.

I stamped using a Bundle Monster plate and China Glaze Tongue & Chic. I really love how subtle this stamping is, though I might try and mattify this later.

Do you like how subtle this is? Or do you prefer a more bold contrast between stamp and base?

Loqi's manicure - Golden curls

Hi guys!
Like Deborah, I also adore swirly and pretty stamping patterns. So for this challenge I went straight to my stamping plates.

Sadly, I had an accident with my left hand again (I'm such a bumbling idiot sometimes) and broke 2 nails, so I hope you enjoy my elusive right hand! :P

For the base colour (I love that Deborah and I both picked a teal blue to do this!) I used Koh Midnight Blue, a beautiful teal leaning blue. I picked bm plate 201 and used China Glaze Passion to stamp the curly pattern. I loooove the combination of deep blue and gold, is so mysterious looking!

Hope you enjoyed this and see you soon!

Stay tuned for challenge day 16: Tribal Print ails!

  2. These stamping manicures are both lovely!
My camera doesn't like teals. I cannot manage to get an accurate pic :/ and since my helmer is half full of teals this seems to be a huge huge problem XD

  3. Deborah, you do those subtle stamping like no other! I bet this would look awesome mattified!

Loqi - Yay for right hand pics! I'm a right hand poser as I'm a lefty, and it's impossible to take pics of my left hand, lol. Your stamping is perfect, and the combo of colors you used is great!
