OPI Barre My Soul

Hi loves! Today I have something special or rather unique to show you: I wore a nude jelly! I've been suffering from stained nails for SO long, so every sheer would look disgusting as the color wasn't how it should look - the yellow shade always shined through. But recently I buffed them quite a bit (I have relatively strong nails) and started using Duri Rejuvacote as my base. Every little trace of yellow grew out so quickly and luckily I haven't had any staining since the buffing! I like my fresh looking nails haha!

That's why I finally (it was untried for more than a year I think) wanted to try and wear something jelly. Nude jelly. OPI Barre My Soul looked so pretty in the bottle, and when I was finished I looooved the look on my nails too!

3 coats was used for this look and as you can see my nail whites are still peeking through (I am blessed with long nail beds - they recovered well after biting my nails for years!). I love it. So squishy! It applies quite well, not streaky and self leveling so that's a plus! It also dries insanely shiny on it's own but I did use topcoat.

What do you think of this fresh look? Something you'd wear? And how do you battle stained nails? Let me know your tips and tricks in the comments please!

Love it!! I'd definitely wear it, but probably add a glitter accent. Just because ;0).

  2. I love this, but can't wear it because of my yellow stained nails. They are a bit weak so I don't want to buff them too much.

  3. Thanks Marisa! Next time I'll probably add one too - usually I don't go for low key looks like these!

  4. That sucks! Though this one has a nice peachy undertone, it may correct the yellow in your nails!
