Shimmer Katie & Nichole
I've got another set of Shimmer polishes for you today. First up is Katie, a mix of copper, silver and green square glitters. Because the glitters are so small Katie was one of the easiest to apply (some of the Shimmer polishes with larger glitter need some dabbing to get nice placement). I am really loving these glitters in mix and match manicures, so I did another one of those. I hope you guys aren't tired of them yet?
For the copper polish I used Love Potion from Essence (a magnetic polish, not that I ever use it as such) and the green is China Glaze Exotic Encounters. I did 2 coats of Katie over Love Potion on my index and a gradient on my ring finger. And I used striping tape and a dotting tool for the leopard and striped nails.
This one was quick and easy, but I love it none the less. This is 1 coat of Shimmer Nichole (a mix of different sizes of red, silver and blue glitter with some of holographic hexes) over 2 coats of P2 Gigantic, my favourite electric blue.
Did you know that red, white and blue are the colours of the Dutch flag? Orange is not our only loved colour ;)
I think these 2 manicures are my favourite with the Shimmer polishes as of yet. I love the colour combination in Katie, its very unique. And I adore the bright and bubbly colours of Nichole, especially over this bright base.
