Swatches & Review - 2 Catrice Glamazona Trend Edition shades

Hi loves! How are you today? Hope you are all doing fine! I went ahead and bought 2 of the China Glaze Autumn Nights shades, called Tongue & Chic and Don't Make Me Wine. Gonna swatch them soon!

Today I am showing you 2 shades from the Catrice Glamazona Trend Edition. When I saw this in store my eyes immediately were drawn to this slightly dusty yet bright turquoise and that lovely bright red color. Because Trend Editions can fly of the shelves I figured I'd swatch it soon for you!

First up is Dirty Liana, the slightly dusty turquoise. I always love shades like these but I was scared I'd have something dupey already. I don't! Everything in my stash is either more grey and dusty, or more green and dusty, or more mint colored. It applied well in 2 buttery coats. Drying time seemed fine too but I topped with topcoat and got it off before I could really comment on that. Only downside is that terrible Catrice brush they now stick in every freaking bottle. The cap also doesn't feel that sturdy so don't be too hard on your bottle!

A tad too bright here, next picture is more accurate!

Nothing that says dupe! L-R Kiko 346, OPI Thanks A Windmillion, Sinful Colors Athens, Catrice Dirty Liana, Misa Dirty Sexy Money, Models Own Slate Green, Bondi Lady Liberty

Second I got, a bright red color that just screams summer to me, I'm a Survivor. Turns out I do seem to have a dupe for this one, OPI Red Lights Agead.. Where? looks exactly the same in the bottle. This also applied very well, almost a one coater, second just to be sure actually. Downside to this polish is again the brush and packaging.

L-R OPI Red Lights Ahead.. Where?, Catrice I'm A Survivor, OPI My Paprika Is Hotter Than Yours!
So these polishes might not be the most original out there, though I don't have a dupe for Catrice Dirty Liana. But, they are relatively easy to get and priced at €2,99 a bottle, not too expensive. Yes, the brush can be a pain but nothing you absolutely can't work with (at least the formula makes up for me) and the colors are fun and summery!

There are 2 more polishes in this collection, you can see the full press release here.

Are you getting any of these or maybe you already bought something? Tell me in the comments!

  10. Oooh, mistake! Sorry^^ Anyway, never mind, still gorgeous :D :D I know, me too. Here we finally have a shop where they sell some Catrice products, it's just one place in the whole region, but I'm happy for it anyway. Still, there's not everything and with TEs it's especially poor :((

  11. What for an awesome shade of green <3
Catrice is my Cinderella brand, it's not so easy to find a rich display here in my town, there's only 1 and it's usually empty =.=
I haven't tried any new one yet, but I've heard of many polishaholic fellows having problems with the new cap...I hope I'm not going to break it :D

  12. When I found the display in store I immediately thought Dirty Liana is a dupe for an older Catrice from the core line: Jade is not my name. Don't you have that one?

  13. It is! I really like it, I am wearing it right now too! It sucks you don't have a nice full display nearby :(. I have to get to the city for it but luckily it is also sold close to the place I work, so that's nice :).

Yeah I had one that made a cracking sound the other day, it is still attached though.. it sucks!

  14. I actually don't! I couldn't even remember the name, but some research told me it was similar to but no a dupe for Catrice I Sea You, which is a dupe for Models Own Slate Green, which isn't (can you still follow me here?) a dupe for this polish :D!

  16. Thanks Nicole, they sure are!

  17. I definitely follow you! *But* if they differ in the "same direction" they could still be dupes! Does that make sense? :p
