A saran marble using a england Guinevere & Elaine

Hi loves! How are you doing? We are experiencing some Fall weather and it is making me realize the days are getting so short already.. I don't like Fall and Winter!

So the other day I was thinking what base to pick to use with Shimmer Tammy. I picked a england Guinevere as it is a lovely pale shade, colorful enough to not fall flat and pale enough to let the glitter work her magic. Then, I realized how much I loved a england Elaine with Guinevere and did a saran marble with those. I still layered Tammy for an accent nail but it was a bit too much so I'll have to use a england Guinevere again and create the look I intended, LOL!

Saran marbles are so much fun and with these a englands the look almost creates itself. 2 easy layers of Guinevere that dry quickly. Then paint a coat of Elaine and immediately dab it away with a scrunched up ball of saran foil. Topcoat and you are done! Oh, and clean up.. yeah, that's the most work with this look.

What do you think of these nails? What color combo should I try for a saran marble?
a england is sold online but doesn't ship internationally anymore, check this page for a local e-tailer! Shimmer can be found here.

  1. Fantastic combination of colours!! Makes me want to try and recreate a similar manicure :) I also usually like how mint/turquoise looks with gold in a saran wrap mani.. :)

Love it!! Those 3 look really good together!
Saran wraps seem so easy to do, but I always fail. xD I think I tend to choose colours that are too similar and it ends up not being really visible... -.-'

  11. LOVE this manicure! I haven't tried saran wrap technique yet... it looks pretty in purple. I think white, grey and neon lime would also look great.

  12. Thanks Raquel! Yeah you do need some contrast or it will not really show up - try something like a baby pink and magenta color and it'll work better I guess!
