OPI Don't Touch My Tutu!

Hi loves! Happy Friday! Any weekend plans? I actually have none, besides swatching and working on the website. I love hanging out in my pajama's and just swatch and edit all day ♥. There will also be chocolate and tea I guess.

Today I have a beautiful polish for you, another one I never expected to love by itself. I already showed you OPI Barre My Soul once (also, woah! Look at the difference in my nails!) and this is also from the OPI NYC City Ballet Soft Shades collection launched in 2012. I am kinda obsessing over the other shades now but NO BUY so I can't have any.

OPI Don't Touch My Tutu is a white jelly, I used 3 coats to achieve this look. It applied nicely and quite even so that's great! For a topcoat I used NYC Grand Central Station. It does NOT work for me at all! I could keep denting it quite long and just.. no. No favorite for me!

Hey look at my wannabe Fashion Polish picture ;-)

Do you own any of the NYC City Ballet Soft Shades? And what kind of jelly sandwich would you make with Don't Touch My Tutu!?

  1. I do own two of them, but I don't know their names. It's the grey and the pink one! I layered the pink one with the L'Oréal confetti topcoat :)

  2. I JUST got obsessed with the NYC Ballet collection too... So far, I've obtained You Callin' Me a Lyre?, Care to Danse?, My Pointe Exactly, and Don't Touch My Tutu!! As soon as those last two arrive, I want to do a jelly sammie with one of my neon glitters, like Liquid Lacquer 80's Baby, or Safety Stick. :D I figure, you typically do white creme undies for neon glitters; why not put them IN a white jelly?!
Your nails are UHmazing, btw!!!! I am super envious of your looooong nail beds. Mine are like, half that length! -_-

  3. I got the mini set when this collection came out, I wasn't in love with any of the colours at all but I do love a good jelly sandwich and these shades are all perfect for doing that! I made one with Care To Danse? and Essence Disco, Disco once which I loved x

  4. Thanks!! I can't wait to try it. :) If you're looking for a very popular, highly versatile neon glitter, I'd try Clowning Around (or Freckles) from Lush Lacquer.

Liquid Lacquer 80's Baby is really fun too, but CA has ALL the colors! :)

I think I NEED to get me some Rejuvacote...a few of my close blogger friends have also been saying how awesome it is. I heard awhile back that it's supposed to be coming to Wal-Marts, but of course haven't seen it in mine yet. :-/
