1-2-3 times Cirque Le Invader

Hi loves! A very picture heavy post today, as I am not showing you 1 or 2 ways to wear Cirque Le Invader, but 3! It's just some basic layering and sandwiching, but still, I hope you enjoy these versions :).

Cirque Le Invader was sent to me by Denise from Dazzled, a Hong Kong based indie stockists which currently has 11 brands lined up. Right now she is having a promotion on Cirque, use code HOHOCIRQUE on check out for a 20% discount (valid till December 17th).

Now, this polish is a square glitter topper with lots of colors in the bottle. These confetti type of polishes have been done a lot of times already, but the fact this one only holds 1 size of square glitter definitely makes it stand out. The amount of glitter is amazing, no fishing required. I applied this over a base of OPI Don't Touch My Tutu, not like you normally apply polish but just by dabbing the brush on my nail, placing the glitter where I wanted. The base is thin enough to spread out even though you aren't smoothing it out so don't worry about that!

I've seen some swatches where the glitter seemed to curl (though it was laying flat on the nail). This bottle doesn't have any (reflective) curling and the glitter lays down smoothly.

Like I said I started with a base of OPI Don't Touch My Tutu (3 coats) and layered Cirque Le Invader after it dried. That's the first look, just this simple layering. I like how the colors stand out on the pale base. Using a colored base might be fun too, but you always have the issue it might match one of the glitter colors too much making it "dissappear".

After taking pictures, I decided to sandwich it with another layer of OPI Don't Touch My Tutu. Sandwiching always brings out the colors really well, making it look more like little square candies.

Then, I decided to mattify it! This was a bit hard to capture as whites don't photograph easy and the matte surface made it appear even lighter.

There you have it, 3 ways to wear Cirque Le Invader! Remember, you get a 20% discount if you use code HOHOCIRQUE on check out at DAZZLED.

Which way would you wear Cirque Le Invader? And what color would you layer it over? Tell me in the comments!
