A skittlette with some more distressed nails!

Hi loves! Had a good weekend? We had some visits with family and friends, and today I am just lazing around doing.. nothing. Yeah, that's how I love my Sundays lol!

Now, for today's nails, I am showing you the distressed nails technique again. Last Tuesday I showed my first creation based on the tutorial created by Sarah from Chalkboard Nails and since I liked the results, I did a second version of them, this time using it on 2 nails only.

Here's what I used on each nail: Thumb & ring - Catrice The GlamoureX Factor (2 coats). Index & middle - distressed nails with a base of OPI Thanks a Windmillion (2 coats), H&M Moody Model, a teal shimmery franken, Catrice The GlamoureX Factor and black. Pinky  - Bliss Polish Mayhem (2 coats).

I really loved the combination of all polishes and the way the distressed nails looked together with the black and gold nails.

Do you like this skittlette version of the distressed nails? Let me know in the comments!

  2. Oooh, I think this should work well with all those abandoned shatter/crackle polishes in our stashes! :D lol, poor guys.. but a great way to use them up (I kinda don't want to throw them away, but don't want to use them either :))

Feels like this is becoming "the new" saran wrap/cling film mani. Or maybe not; cling film is such an elegant mani, while this is much more relaxed & funky.

ANYWAY, I like what you did there, love the color combo :)

  7. It would! Only downside to the crackle is you have less influence on where the black should go - working like this you can alter every bit of the end result :).

And yes, it has been around a lot huh? And that reminds me, I should do another saran marble.

    Thanks ♥
