Zoya Manon - My namepolish!

Hi guys!
Today I've got a very special polish (well, special for me at least) to show you: my namepolish, Zoya Manon! On this blog I go by Loqi because it's a name I've used for years and 'Loqi's lacquer' sounded way cooler than 'Manon's lacquer' lol, but most of you probably know Manon is my real name. It took me a while to get this polish because it's quite an old one and most shops don't have it any more. So I had to hunt it down on Ebay for a reasonable price. But now I finally have it, yay!

Zoya Manon is a really pretty dark mauve colour with an almost hidden silver shimmer. The shimmer turns mauve in most light so it's hardly visible, but it gives the polish an extra sheen, which is very pretty. The formula was a bit 'meh' though. This is 4 thin coats because otherwise it was too patchy and would have shown in the pictures. I do love this polish though. I always love these warm reddish colours and it goes great with my skintone. So I am very lucky to have this namepolish, it could just as well have been a sheer polish or orange! *shudder*

Anyway, do you guys like this colour? And do you have a namepolish too? Hope you guys like it and see you soon!

    A lovely color!
Unfortunately, Zoya has not released any Victoria or Vicky so far :( but I have a bottle of Nails Inc. Victoria and it is just the right color for me - vampy oxblood.

  2. Wow! This is pretty! You're lucky that you have a name polish! Zoya hasn't come out with an Angie yet. Though they do have an Angella, but I spell it like normal people do, which is Angela. Oh well, I hope one day they come out with my name polish!

  3. This is a beautiful color! I've been waiting for Zoya to release a Melissa polish, but until then I can buy mine from Shimmer Polish, which happens to be a gorgeous color that I really like.

  4. Ooh, that is pretty. I have a namepolish too, but it's one of the million nude-pink shades they have, and even the fact it was my namesake couldn't convince me to pay for it. I don't think it would even work with my skin tone. But yours is super cute!

So funny that I was trying to decide on placing another Zoya order before the promo ends. I was browsing their site just now and came across this polish. I decided to Google swatches and I was amazed to see that you just posted it today! Haha...what a coincidence! Beautiful and yes...I NEED it!

  7. Don't worry, Loqi is just an internetname, I go by Manon in 'the real world', it would be silly if people called me Loqi there too :p
