OPI I Sing In Color

Hi loves! The last beauty from the OPI x Gwen Stefani to show you, and funnily enough the one I doubted to get but which might be my favorite :-). You've seen the satin finishes before (Love. Angel. Music. Baby. and 4 In The Morning) and this one is a crème gloss finish. It definitely lives up to the glossy claim!

The shade is a very, very, very vampy red. It's so dark it'll look black in some lighting, but when the sun or a bright lightsource shines directly on it you'll see the red in it. I love shades as dark as these and the glossy finish is just so. GOOD.

I needed 2 coats for opacity and the only thing you have to be careful with it, is paint it with a bright lightsource at hand. Otherwise there might be a bald patch you won't notice until you go out and don't have the option of fixing it anymore.

I used a topcoat for that extra shine and long lasting finish and it wore great for 2 days!

How you do feel about this vampy shade? Too dark or just right? Tell me in the comments!

  1. So funny how that works out about being the one you doubted but ends up being your favorite! That happens to me all the time. This is gorgeous!

  2. I love it. Thanks for the tips on painting with it. I know what you mean about using a bright light source for application.

  3. I like dark vampy colors, but this looks a bit too brown for me. Or maybe it's just my screen ;)

This shade looks so good on you!! I actually thought it was brown at first. Though I don't wear these types of colors often, I long to every once in a while.

  5. Thanks Kirby! I will be surprised with polishes so many times.. just like the yellow from the OPI Brazil collection. I was so impressed with it while I only ordered it because I own NO yellows :).

  7. Hmm no it does have a very strong brown undertone to it, almost like dried blood haha!

  8. Thanks Marisa! It is very brownish, but with enough red to make it wearable for me :-).
