Hi loves! Sorry for not posting yesterday, I still hadn't recovered enough from my trip to Poland to prep a post.. but I am hoping today's beauty will compensate for that ;-). As you might have read I went to Poland last Thursday night, to do volunteer work on Friday and Saturday and fly back on Sunday. Well, I can tell you, doing some serious psychical work and then partying really hard at night (I slept 8 hours in 3 nights!) will break you. But in a good and super fun way, lol. I really enjoyed Poland as a country though the people seem a bit grumpy.. but the great prices in the local bars and such made up for that!
When I got home last Sunday there was a note I could go and pick up a package the next day, and in that package was Scofflaw Dingoes Ate My Baby along with Glam Polish Legendary. I am reeeally happy I kinda spontaneous decided to get them, because boy is this Glam Polish a beauty! It's my first experience with the brand and I have been lusting after so many more shades (Infinite Wisdom, Rose Dawn, Temptation, Elvira, Lisbeth, Divinity... I could go on and on!) so I am quite sure there will be some serious shopping soon!
I love the square bottle and the thin round brush, it's still what works best for me personally. The formula on Glam Polish Legendary was great, 2 thin coats did the trick. It doesn't dry necessarily shiny but I always use top coat so that ain't an issue. The color is a lovely deep dark bordeaux like purple, filled with color shifting glass flecks and a scattered holographic sparkle. My lamp did pick up the holographic sparkle very well so keep in mind you might see less of that in regular lighting!
Unfortunately this limited edition that was created to celebrate the 1 year "relationship" between Mei Mei's Signatures and Glam Polish is already sold out at Mei Mei's, but still available at Glam Polish (I am writing this on Tuesday night, so hopefully when this post goes live it still is available!). Retail price is $10,95 and it's an LE so grab yours while you can!
What do you think of this shade? And if you own any Glam Polish shades, which one do you recommend? Tell me in the comments!
