Hi loves! Woops, I'm posting a bit late aren't I..? I forgot to prep this post and since today was some fabulous weather, I couldn't bring myself to sit down and spend those sunny hours inside. Nope, instead I sat down in our garden and got a bad sunburn.. way to go silly me!
I want to show you the third and last shade I received from Sabrina, namely Polish Alcoholic Mulder. Just as I Want To Believe this one is part of the X-Files collection. Unfortunately I had some issues capturing the shade so I want to warn you these pictures are not color accurate! For the right purple shade please check the listing in Sabrina's Etsy shop.
Polish Alcoholic Mulder is a warm purple shade packed with a purple and blue shimmer and silver shreds. My picture somehow show it more as a blue based blurple while it's actually a much warmer shade and more purple rather than blue.
I used 3 thin coats in my swatch and while the formula itself is easy to manage, I must admit I'm not the biggest fan of the silver shreds. They didn't behave as bad as I feared, but on my ringfinger I had 2 pieces sticking up that I could not get under control. Luckily the other pieces did play nice!
My verdict: a gorgeous shade, but I kinda wish it came without the silver shreds. When behaving well they do look pretty though!
My basecoat is Duri Rejuvacote and I topped it with Glisten & Glow HK Girl topcoat.
What do you think of this shade? And how do you feel about shredded glitter? Tell me in the comments!
