Hi loves! A while back I received another package for review from Dance Legend, and included were some beautiful shades. I want to start today by showing you 3 beauties from the Dance Legend Smoky collection. There are 6 shades in this collection and the thing they have in common is that they are creme based polishes, with a lot of grey to them and also the addition of black specks that aren't gritty nor shiny.
These shades come in 15 ml. bottles and have a soft black cap. The polish name is on the bottle, the collection name and polish number is on a sticker on the front of the bottle cap. The brush is quite fat but flat and works nicely. Each shade had about the same formula: slightly thin on the first coat but builds up nicely to opacity in 3 coats. The finish is self leveling and super shiny, I didn't use a top coat in my pictures (besides the matte one, obviously).
Let's take a closer look!
Dance Legend Cetraria is a soft mint green shade. It reminds me of kitchens in the 70's, but in a good way :-). Out of 3 this was the most opaque but still needed that third (thin) coat for complete opacity.
Dance Legend Grey Britain is a cool toned light grey and sorta looks like concrete, especially mattified! This could be a great base for some black or white stamping I think.
Dance Legend Moorland is a pale lilac shade and prettier than I anticipated. It's a very classy shade I think.
What really surprised me with these shades, is the glossy finish they dried with and also that they weren't though to remove at all. So I am not sure what the black particles actually are. Couldn't be glitter, right?
Which of these shades is your favorite? And what do you think those black specks are? Tell me in the comments!
Dance Legend is sold through their own webshop. Dance Legend Smoky shades come in 15 ml. bottles and retail for $9. Shipping worldwide is $10 and free if you order over 10 bottles.
