Hi loves! Today I have something amazing to show you guys. HARE Polish is one of the brands participating in the A Box, Indied by Llarowe and in the May box this gorgeous pink shade with orange glitter was included. I didn't buy the box and wasn't planning to either, but then I noticed this beautiful picture by Aglaya on Instagram. To my big surprise I received an e-mail from this sweet girl, offering me her bottle as a gift! Obviously I couldn't say no to that and now here it is, this beautiful but limited edition HARE beauty.
While I am writing this (Saturday 21st) the May box that included this polish is still available on the Llarowe site. So you can still buy the box and get this shade along with other limited beauties.
HARE The Blooming Desert was inspired by cactus flowers. You can read more about the inspiration here. Nikole describes this shade as a bright pink jelly with orange dots, pearly white hexes and squares, glowing gold iridescent glitter and gold flakies. It also features gorgeous golden shimmer! Totally accurate! I just ADORE how the orange dots stand out along with that golden shimmer that brings a glow to the surface of this beauty.
Because of the jelly base and the current length of my nails I decided to layer this shade over a base of OPI Kiss Me On My Tulips. I don't like sheer tips and I always want to wrap my tips as well, which is hard with a glitter filled jelly polish. Using a colored base gives you the opportunity to use that for the wrapping and then layer the glitter on top of it. Application of HARE The Blooming Desert was easy. No manipulation needed of the glitter and it spread easy on the nails. I topped with 2 coats of Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat for a gorgeous shine. After a day of wear I also mattified it but didn't take camera pictures. Check Instagram to see how it looks!
I am so grateful Aglaya decided to offer me here bottle and want to thank her again for this generosity! Things like these always remind me how kind the nail world can be :-).
What do you think of this shade? And have you ever bought a box from the A Box, Indied collection? Tell me in the comments!
