Scofflaw Dingoes Ate My Baby

Scofflaw Dingoes Ate My Baby
Hi loves! Happy Friday, any fun weekend plans? I'm visiting Rotterdam tomorrow with my bestie - lots of good food and quality time planned.

Today I have a quick and simple post for you, featuring a shade I purchased a while back at Mei Mei's Signatures. Remember Glam Polish Legendary? This shade was the second beauty I picked :-). I was really happy with my experience with Mei Mei's, the package arrived quickly and well packed and she has so many brands to pick from!

Scofflaw Dingoes Ate My Baby is a dark teal colored jelly. The jelly base holds a blue/green shimmer, a dash of holographic sparkles and contains small blue, green and iridescent glitters as well. This shade has some serious depth! It's also quite the chameleon depending on the lighting, sometimes it looks more green and sometimes definitely more blue.

The formula wasn't great for me. It's weird because I read a lot of positive reviews on it, saying it covers in 2 easy coats. I did not do that for me :-(. Maybe the room I was using it in was a bit too warm, but I had some trouble getting the right amount on my brush. Thinner coats meant it already dried partially while I was fiddling with it, thicker coats meant more trouble getting it even. In the end I settles with 2 thin coats and one last thicker coat. It does dry quickly and completely smooth and topped with G&G HK Girl Top Coat it looked nice and shiny as well.

  3. Thanks Katie, glad you like it! And well, with a good layer of topcoat not many polishes show the formula issues in the end ;-).

  4. The colour is amazing and I don't mind glitters in it this time. It is to be considered one of the perfect teals to my eyes!
