Have you been enjoying these Shimmer posts so far? I am really having fun doing them! These are so gorgeous! I keep wanting to do some nailart with them, but every time I pick a bottle to swatch I just want to see the polish on it's own because it's so pretty in the bottle! Don't worry though, I will do some nailart with these as well soon, and there will also be a comparison coming up as well.
For today I have 2 new beauties to show you, a gorgeous bright blue glittermix and a very warm brown microglitter.
Let's check them out!
First up is Strenght. Strenght is currently the only Shimmer polish without a girls name. It was made for PCOS awareness and with each sale of this polish donations will be made to charity.
Since the PCOS charity colour is teal Strength is made with teal glitter. The mix has a clear base filled with blue leaning teal glitter in different sizes and big silver glitter and silver hearts. There aren't very many hearts in it though and you have to fish for them to come out. I myself dislike shaped glitter, so I didn't fish and none of them came on their own. Shown here is 2 coats of Strenght over 2 coats of Kiko 342 Sea Green.
Apart from the heart shaped glitter I abselutely adore this polish! I'm still in my blue period and I have a soft spot for teal, so this is an instant winner for me. I also love the combination of blue and silver.
And then we have Bella. Bella is a microglitter mix, so no different sizes of glitter. It's made up of black, burgundy and silver the combination of which makes it look like a warm brown. This polish is extremely flattering on lighter skintones! Bella has a clear base but is very dense, and since all the glitter is small it will dry quite smooth. This means you can easily wear this polish on its own. Shown here is 3 coats with no coloured base underneath it.
This may not be the most flashy Shimmer polish, but I really like it anyway. It was really flattering on me and it's nice not to go major bling every time you wear a glitter.
So, another 2 gorgeous glitters! Which ones are your favorites so far? Tell me in the comments! I hope you guys like it and see you next week!
