Hi loves! How are you doing? Today is a special day here. You might have heard about the plane take was taken down last week above Ukraine. In that plane were 193 Dutch people, they all died a terrible death and today the bodies will arrive home for identification and proper burial. I can't even imagine how many families, friends, coworkers all have lost someone in their lives. It hasn't affected me personally but so many people were taken from us, and so it's a national day of mourning. I want to express my deepest sympathy to those affected by this terrible incident and hope they can find some kind of peace in getting their beloved ones back today.

Now, on another note I want to show you some nail art I did using Mundo de Uñas Iris, a lovely blue stamping polish. What I haven't mentioned yet in my previous posts, is the way these stamping polishes behave when trying to clean up the mess you have after stamping. Normal polish remover doesn't really work. Acetone doesn't really work. Nope, these respond best to non acetone remover! How weird is that? But really, I was super frustrated at first because the polish would just smudge and not really clear up, then I read this tip and it worked wonders!

For this look I started with a base of Bondi Blue Skies, after it dried I used MoYou London Pro XL 06 and Mundo de Uñas Iris to stamp. Somehow I kinda stretched the image on a few nails? But I don't know how, lol.. it wasn't my intention! It still looks good I think and I really liked this image. Slightly abstract but still a lovely floral pattern. I love floral stamping!

What do you think of this look? And have you ever stretched an image while stamping? Tell me in the comments!

  1. That's weird about the non-acetone remover but it seems like they stamp great so it's worth it. This looks so pretty!
