Black & White nail art inspired by Nails by Cassis

Hi loves! As you know I looove stamping my nails. Sometimes you come across a combination you HAVE to try immediately and that's what happened when I saw these lovely nails. Fun fact: after I recreated it in the original color combination, I also did them with pink tones which will be shown some other time. So the original inspirator was Nails by Cassis, and she did a wonderful tutorial as well!

The technique is really easy, it combines the saran wrap marble with stamping. I do however want to do this again but with a more pronounced flower stamp, since it slightly faded into the background.

The polishes I used for this look are: Cirque Carpe Diem, Cirque Memento Mori, CND Asphalt and Konad Black for the stamping. My base is the lovely Cirque Carpe Diem, which is a 2 coater white for me. It has the slightest hint of shimmer which helps in application and dries real smooth. After it dried I dabbed a little ball of saran wrap into CND Asphalt and put that on my nails. Some extra contrast was added with Cirque Memento Mori and when that was dry, I stamped the flower image from MoYou London Pro XL 06. To seal in the design and provide a smooth and glossy finish I used Cirque Liquid Laminate top coat.

What do you think of this monochrome look? Tell me in the comments!

Whoa! Super cool look! I love how it looks nothing like flowers now, but like cool graphic art! Maybe this is a way for me to finally use all my floral stamps that have been untouched! XD
