Swatches & Review - Shimmer Erica & Josephine

Hi guys! 2 more very sparkly glitter polishes this week! Only 3 more duos after this one and then I will have shown you all my Shimmer polishes! Today I have Erica and Josephine for you. Erica is a very sparkly soft green with with gold and Josephine is a strange but pretty mix of blue, pink and orange.

First up, Erica. Erica is a pale green mix with gold and iridescent glitter in different sizes. It has a clear base and is very sparkly! I layered 2 coats of Erica over China glaze Cherish, which is the same kind of pale green.

Although Erica applied and sparkled just as great as other Shimmer polishes, I must admit I don't like this colour. The green is too washed out for me and the gold just is a bit too much bling for my tastes. But no matter, you can't like every single polish in a collection this big right?

And then we have Josephine. You may notice Josephine is very similar to another Shimmer polish I showed you before, Tiffany. Silly me however, didn't notice this until I was taking pictures of this manicure, and then I saw I even layered it over a similar base!
There are some differences between these 2 polishes however. As I mentioned before, Tiffany looks very coppery because of the pink glitter it has. Josephine however also has some orange in the mix and looks brighter and more pink because of this. Also, where Tiffany only has tiny blue glitter, Josephine also has larger pieces, making these 2 polishes sisters but not twins. Like Tiffany, Josephine has a clear base, so I layered it. I used 2 coats of Kiko 320 Malva Beige and 1 coat of Josephine with a nice coat of topcoat.

So which colour you guys prefer? Tiffany or Josephine? I'm having a hard time deciding. I like Josephine's brighter colour better, but I loved the small square glitter of Tiffany. Let me know in the comments!
