Flashback Sunday #9

Hi loves! Another new weekly post. I want to take you back and look at what was posted a year ago. Who knows, maybe you didn't know this site back then, or maybe you just forgotten about the fun things we shared!

September 30th - October 6th 2013

A warm and golden gradient

This manicure is still so pretty, and I loooove how it embraces all colors of Fall! The gradient itself came out perfect as well.

Bondi Lady Liberty and my homemade 24k gold topcoat

Last year gold leaf topcoats were all the rage, but because they could be quite expensive I decided to make my own version of it!

Wednesday Eyes on Instagram
A fun series of posts I did highlighting girls that only blog through Instagram.

Sinful Colors Rainstorm & Hard Candy Party Central

A fun pairing of glitter, and obviously I had to mattify it - who doesn't love matte glitter? Also, this glitter mix turned out to be a near dupe to the later released China Glaze Your Present Required.

Gradient leopard with various greens!

Wow, my nails were super long in this period, I didn't realize that before seeing this picture! I think the nude base emphasizes it even more. And how much fun was this leopard print that has a gradient in it? I loved it ^^.

El Corazon Jelly 423/58 & CND Gold Sparkle

Saturday El Corazon Jelly 423/58 & CND Gold Sparkle
Aaah, the delicate effects of the CND toppers. Too bad these aren't around anymore but I guess there are plenty of alternatives available.

Sunday Essence Cool Breeze over China Glaze Bermuda Breakaway
Though the glitter polish I used was disappointing, I still love that China Glaze shade!

Tell me, which one was your favorite post out of these?

  2. What a fantastic idea for a posting series! All too often we forget about what we did a year back. I loved seeing what you were doing a year ago and I'm so in love with that gradient leopard print!

  3. Loqi's gradient is perfect and I love that CND gold sparkle. What a fun idea for a post. Too often older posts just get buried, never to be seen again. :)
