Geometric nail art using Cirque Boudoir & La Vie Boheme

Hi loves! As I said last Tuesday in my Cirque Colors The Burlesque Collection review, I did some fun nail art using Boudoir. Today I want to show you that look! Not only uses it Boudoir, but also Cirque La Vie Boheme and the beautiful Polish My Life Birthday Suit.

Curious how I created this look? Read along to get all the tips & tricks!

Before creating this design, you have to pick 3 shades. I chose to go with 2 creme's and a holographic one to give it some extra oomph. Because you are layering 2 shades, make sure those are covering well. Preferably 1 coaters but because you also have a base already, a little less opaque is fine too. Also, it's nice when the shades have some contrast to them so the triangles show up better,

My base is Cirque La Vie Boheme. I used 2 coats and a thin layer of top coat to speed up the drying process. That way you can work faster. Then, I carefully placed 2 straight vinyl pieces to create the bottom triangle. It doesn't have to go up to the tip of your nail as you are covering that part any way, but don't make it to tiny or you won't get the "hour glass shape". Quickly remove your vinyls after painting your first accent color.

After the bottom triangle dried properly, place two straight vinyl pieces creating a downwards triangle that nicely overlaps your first one. Use your second accent color and wrap the tip with it as well (but only where the triangle is placed!). Remove the vinyls and let it dry a bit, then use top coat to seal your design!

This is such a stunning design yet quite simple to achieve. Just some patience and vinyls and you are all set!

What do you think of this look? Something you'd like to try? Tell me in the comments!
