Hi loves! Today I have a new to me brand to share, and boy has it impressed me! LilypadLacquer recently launched at Hypnotic Polish and when I saw Emily's swatches of the 3 exclusive shades, I couldn't stop drooling over Bronze Goddess. I ordered it right away and Maria was nice enough to provide me with mini's of the other 2 shades. I'll admit, normally I don't really like mini's for review, but these have normally sized brushes and brush caps so the experience was great.
All shades are shown over a base of Duri Rejuvacote and topped with Glisten & Glow HK Girl top coat for a shiny finish.
As I said, LilypadLacquer is a new to me brand though I had heard about them before. It's created in Australia and available at quite a few e-tailers. Hypnotic Polish is one of them and to celebrate that, this gorgeous 3 piece exclusive set was created!
LilypadLacquer Bronze Goddess was a shade I just had to have after seeing Emily's swatches. The deep dark black jelly base holds an amazing sprinkling of orange/copper shimmer (that even has a slight duochrome effect to it as it flashes green too). Besides that, there's also holographic sparkles and it seems some bright blue pieces are thrown in as well. The result is a super luxurious shade that shimmers and sparkles in all the right places.
Formula was great, a buttery application and opaque in 2 coats.
LilypadLacquer Envy was a shade I loved looking at, but thought I wouldn't like for me. Well, I was wrong. Everyone needs this complex yet stunning shade in their life! The dark green jelly base holds the most amazing holographic sparkle along with a very vivid and bright purple shimmer. You might think that would get lost, but it doesn't ♥.
Lovely formula, bit more sheer and thinner but perfectly opaque in 3 coats.
LilypadLacquer Purple Velvet is definitely a surprise polish. In the bottle you see a lot of heavy purple flakes and shimmer in a base that appears to be black. It's not - the base is a super deep dark purple jelly actually. After 2 coats it still looks mostly black but because of the squishy the shimmer gets all the room it needs to shine. The perfect vamp!
Great formula, 2 easy coats. In bright direct lighting the jelly base because more translucent and it looks you might have bald spots, but that only looks like it in super bright direct light.
I think you might notice I'm really impressed with these. At first I was only really interested in Bronze Goddess, but I'm really happy to own the other 2 as well. The formula is great on all 3 and the shades are so unique!
Which out of these 3 is your favorite? And do you have any experience with LilypadLacquer? Tell me in the comments!
