Hi loves! Today I want to show you a polish I wore a while back and really enjoyed. It's China Glaze Getting To Gnaw You, part of this years Halloween collection called Apocalypse of Color. I wasn't completely blown away by the collection this year but ended up ordering 2 shades from Hypnotic Polish, this one and also Don't Let The Dead Bite which is still untried.
China Glaze Getting To Gnaw You (love that name!) is a black jelly base filled with different sized copper glitter. I absolutely adore copper so I had to have this obviously! It applied very easily, you just brush it on like a regular polish and it covers in 2 coats. It does dry a bit gritty, and it also absorbs some of your topcoat so using a thicker one or something like Gelous in between might help. I personally used Gelous and my regular G&G HK Girl topcoat, and the next morning it wasn't as glassy smooth as the night before, but not bumpy.
What I really like is how easy it is to wear this polish without the fitting holiday. It's just perfect for Fall and Winter, the copper glitter will even spice up a holiday dress I think ^^. And with China Glaze I am always assured of a good brush and easy application.
Have you tried any of the China Glaze Apocalypse of Color shades? If so, which one? Tell me in the comments!
