Hi loves! Today I have a gorgeous 5 piece collection to show you: the newest A-England Elizabeth & Mary collection. This is available at Hypnotic Polish and I can assure you: if you have ever tried the amazing formula that is A-England, these will leave you speechless. Once again perfect, opaque and with gorgeous finishes, this collection is stunning.
All swatches are done using 2 coats, with the A-England base- and topcoat for an even application and shiny finish.
A-England Crown Of Thistles is a lovely medium purple with a holographic finish. The formula is stellar and it basically applies itself. The holographic effect is scattered but visible and gives a gorgeous depth to the shade.
A-England Fotheringhay Castle is one of the most unique shades I've ever seen - an olive green with a scattered holographic finish. It has a bit of that lit from within look to it and as a bonus it stamps perfectly as well!
A-England Gloriana is a super fiery red filled with glowing golden particles. It makes the polish appear a bit textured in my pictures but in reality it was completely smooth. Removal is a bit of a hassle with this one since the glitter gets stuck everywhere. Tad thick in formula but very opaque.
A-England Queen Of Scots is a velvety blue. Really, doesn't this look like velvet to you? Sooo smooth! Any brushstrokes you might see here weren't visible in real life and while it's a dark blue, the shimmer keeps it from going black.
A-England Virgin Queen is a very unique color. I'm not sure what to call it.. light olive? Charcoal? Olive-taupe? And then there's the lovely holographic finish to it.. sparse, scattered but sparkly! I think this'll work for stamping very well too!
If you want to read some more about the history that inspired these polishes, please check out the post written by Eugenia from Ommorphia Beauty Bar - she always does the best A-England posts! I'm very pleased with this collection as a whole. The colors are divers, the formula is perfect and the finishes are amazing as always. And I love it when a polish doubles for stamping as well ^^.
Have you tried any of these polishes from A-England? Which one do you like best? Tell me in the comments!
